Woke the bike right up. The thing I noticed the most was the shift patterns were smoother.

2023 Grom

Love everything about this intake. Fairly easy install and definitely worth getting ECU flashed.

Tight install but definitely worth

Was a tight install but ultimately got it done. Love the sound, throaty and deep. Great build material and quality, you are getting your money's worth.

Missing component

I’m missing the adapter piece the wire plugs into on the intake

Per the photo you sent by email, you are not missing anything. The intake kit does not include an 'adapter piece', what you are referring to is the temp sensor. You need to use the temp sensor that is in your stock airbox and then connect the included wire extension on to it.

SUPER CUSTOMER SERVICE and QUALITY PRODUCT(s)

Super vendor with great communication and support. Prompt delivery as advertised. Recently ordered a Chimera Intake; received in less than two days! Then sent a GROM ECU for re-flashing. It arrived to DHM on a FRI morning in the mail, was re-flashed, and in the mail headed back to me in less than three hours on the same FRI!! My experience with DHM to date has been the textbook for superb customer service!! Can confidently recommend.

Chimera has built a reputable name when it comes to intake systems for the Honda Grom!

Now available for the 2022 Grom, the Chimera intake deletes the factory airbox and opens up the intake path for increased performance across the entire rev range. This system has provisions for the factory crankcase vent and intake temperature sensor.

Included:

  • Large intake pipe
  • K&N Filter
  • Intake temperature sensor harness extension
  • Silicone coupler with hose clamps

This intake pairs extremely well with an aftermarket exhaust such as the Yoshimura and our ECU Flash, found HERE, and our S1 Camshaft found HERE.
