DHM S1 Camshaft for the 2022+ Honda Grom / Monkey (Generation 2)

$179.00

After testing multiple different variations of cams for the 2022 Grom, we've settled on this setup for stock bore and big bore bikes. We have maximized the lift using the stock valves and combined that with a very rideable duration that produces gains at every RPM in the rev range.

DHM S1 Camshaft

  • Highest possible lift with stock valves
  • Gains across the entire rev range
  • +1-2HP over a bike with only intake/exhaust
  • Direct drop-in installation
  • Set valve clearance to .005” / .005”

Generation 2 Updates

  • Removable big bearing for ease of install
  • Duration adjustment to help tip in response and idle noise
  • Stronger heat treatment to increase overall durability

A tune is required to run this cam! We have our ECU flash available HERE and we also offer the aRacer Mini5 if you prefer to do the tuning yourself, available HERE.

Grom with vtec?🤣

At first, it’ll seem weird but nothing to worry about if you’re doing this for the first time. But what I mean by vtec is the way the grom PULLS as soon as u hit 7k, I’m talking a sudden pull. I’d definitely recommend a cam gear so u can even it out but if she pulls hard with a eBay exhaust, chimera intake, cam, 60% springs/plate,koso pump, iridium plug, and a 39T sprocket on my 2023. Set the valves to what dhm recommends, u should hear ZERO ticking don’t let people fool u with their misinformation. 100% would go dhm over any other brand

S1 cam.

It makes more power. I’m pleased no complaints. Do a full exhaust, intake, cam, and ecu flash. My 2023 monkey can do over 65 flat ground no wind pretty easy. Where the upgrades shine is going uphill into wind. In places where I was stuck at 50 stock, I will still be accelerating at 55 now.

Best mod for the money

Rode my bike after installing the cam and was blown away. Gained some top speed as well as a very noticeable mid range to top end power gain!

So S1 or S1R for wheelies ?¿

Just curious if one of the two would be a better option!
