On the bright side, I didn’t have to grind any rings as they all fell within the gap tolerances in the jug. I wonder though if the cylinder has been honed if the rings would have had enough material there to be tight enough. I do have to say this was a replacement set of rings since I screwed up the first set trying to grind them down with a file(first set had 4-5 thousands more material on them if I had to guess).
