Decha Performance Honda Grom / MSX125 Manual Cam Chain Tensioner
Ordered the manual tensioner to replace stock. Stock cap was dented. It's definitely a quality item and easy to install. Just remove old tensioner parts (bolt,washer and spring). Inserted, tensioner, set, and lockup nut. Very straightforward.
Only thing is there doesn't seem to be any specs on how tight to set the tensioner. I recall only one video (i think by huntertuned) that actually states how much to tighten. So recommendations would be nice.
As for customer service and shipping. Always great at DHM.
Very well made, easy to adjust. A much better way to control the cam chain tension which the oem one fails to do with hot cams and lots of rpm.
Together with the Speed Shop roller bearing tensioner arm, this is the best, bulletproof replacement for the weak stock tensioner. Highly recommended.

The Honda Grom hydraulic chain tensioner is a weak point and must be replaced for high revving engines!
